My World, Delivered…

Man, it’s been quite hot during the past few days!  Unfortunately, there’s no AC in my room (only outside living room has it).  I’m thinking of getting a portable AC, but the cheapest one I could find on-line was $350.  I think I’d rather stay hot.  Besides, it reminds me of freshman year in my “sauna” dorm room.  Basically, during frosh year, Mod and I were roommates at Clark Kerr.  The room next to us (we think) is the boiler room, so our room was always hot regardless of the time of the year.  It could be freezing outside in December, yet inside would be about 80 degrees at least.  Let’s just say I didn’t gain the freshman 15 or 30 because of that!  Maybe this will work for me too now hahaha (probably not).

For the past few days, I guess I’ve been suffering from vacation withdrawal.  I find myself being less productive at work, and all I can think of is  the next vacation.  Sigh.  Nothing major has happened over the past few days.  On Wednesday, I went to lunch with Ben and Mod at Micro$oft.  We had the usual udon special.  I didn’t save the chicken teriyaki this time, though (pig!).  Actually, Mod finished all of it (including the rice in the chicken teriyaki) before I even finished my udon.  Man, can he eat lol.  Today, we got some Thai takeout for lunch at work.  Wow, did we have a lot of food.  There were like 5 orders of chicken satay (about 6 satays each?), 2 orders of fried tofu, 2 orders of fish cake, an order of fried rice, an order of both red and yellow curry, 2 orders of pad thai, and like 5 orders of rice.  This is for about 10 people, so we definitely had leftovers.  It was good, though.  I took some of the fish cakes home because it’s my fav.

Man, it’s so hot.  Gonna go take a shower now.  Until next time!
