Last post was written in the middle of the day Saturday. In the afternoon, I went to Peter’s semi-house warming party. I stopped by BevMo to get a pack of Singha Beer (Thai beer) and Smirnoff Ice. Then I drove to his condo. There wasn’t any parking in his complex so the guests had to resort to park at the plaza next door. I went a bit early (4:45pm) and met Khoa, who just stopped by before his shift at Starbucks. Peter’s (and Sam’s) place is really nice. I especially liked the loft area he has. There was a pool table, and a tv with ps2 and wii. The microfiber couch was really nice also. Later on, more people showed up. There’s his friend Rich from De Anza days. Then there’s Brian who lives in Santa Rosa. Then some of Sam’s friends came. There were Christina (sp?) and Jackie who are nurses who came with their boyfriends. There was also Sarah and Modeeva(?) but they had to leave shortly. It was quite fun, actually. I didn’t know most of the people there except for Sam and Peter, but I didn’t feel awkward around them. They were pretty cool (I guess the alcohol helped also haha).
After a couple of beers/smirnoffs and shots of Captain Morgan, we went to play drunken wii. It was really fun! We first played some wii sports but then switched to Monkeyball. Those monkeyball games require concentration or aim, so it was really funny when we couldn’t control where our monkeys went. I eventually fell asleep on the couch and woke up when the last couple left. It was about 1:00 am. It was a weird feeling having woken up after being drunk. I wasn’t sure if my buzz was gone, but at least I am able to concentrate, so I drove home.
Sunday, I woke up early to watch Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final. It was a good match between Nadal and Federer, but in the end Federer won (again). After that, I didn’t do much except played Guild Wars and some wc3 mod games. Then I took a nap in the afternoon and continued to play games.
Today, I just woke up, went to work, and played a few games of dota afterwards. Nothing much =)
